St. Francis of Assisi eighth-grade students are featured on Louisville Life on KET. It details the award-winning Holocaust education program at SFA and the passing of HJR6 -- a bill to allow for Holocaust and genocide education across the Commonwealth. The program was originally aired on March 27, 2008, and is now available via streaming video at KET.org

2007 eighth grader Rebecca Schwager posed with Senator Mitch McConnell in Washington. Rebecca was one of two students from Kentucky to win the Prudential Spirit of Community Award for her work with raising money and awareness in Darfur. (May 8, 2007)
